ABOUT COLIN

Greetings, all! My name is Colin Fenster, and I hail from Richmond, Virginia, where I have lived nearly all my life. I’m the middle child of three – I have an older sister, Hannah, who studied English in college, and a younger brother, Casey, who is three years younger than me and runs cross country and track. I’m a big football fan (my college team is TCU, and my NFL team is the Cowboys – can you tell I was born in Texas?), and I also love baseball and college basketball. I applied to the Academy in October of my senior year of high school, and I can’t imagine having gone anywhere else. I’ve met some truly wonderful people and had wildly unique experiences.

At the Academy, I am an Electrical Engineering major, but I also love studying public policy. I am part of the swim team and the water polo team, and I participate in the Model United Nations club.

In my free time, I love to ski, read, hang out with friends, and pursue what will most likely turn out to be an unsuccessful stand-up comedy career. I also love talking to people, which is why if you have any questions at all (about the Academy and any of its organizations, about choosing the Academy, or anything else), please feel free to contact me at Colin.D.Fenster@uscga.edu.

Semper Paratus and Go Bears,
Colin
