My name is Anthony Turner Jr.; I am from Clinton, Maryland. I am one of the many people from Maryland that you’ll meet at the Academy. I attended Oxon Hill School and was an active member of my school’s extracurricular activities. I was part of my school’s JROTC program, and a member of our swim team. During my junior year of high school, I founded an astronomy club with a few of my “budzos.” I was also in several honor societies, if you can’t already tell I’m a bit of a nerd.
Academics aside, I am a really laid back guy. It doesn’t hurt to kick back and go with the flow of things. As an only child, I did a lot of relaxing. I didn’t have any cats or dogs, I had and still have a lot of fish. If you want some fish advice, just hit me up! My favorite activities were playing video games, hanging out, and sleeping (admit it, sleeping is the best hobby). I’m also a huge traveler. While cruises are nice, nothing beats exploring the ruins of an ancient city with a tour guide.
If you ever need anything, just hit me up at Anthony.F.Turner@uscga.edu. If you also need some energetic Spotify playlists, I’m your guy. Until then, I’ll catch you later.
